There are lots of Christmas challenges in blogland and I'm sharing a card I
made using one of my most favorite Christmas stamps, an oldie by PSX
(G1879).
I first stamped the carolers onto Neenah 80lb cardstock then again onto a post it
note to make a simple mask. Then I used the negative of a circle die
cut to ink the circle using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink. A "torn paper" mask was used for some snowbanks at the bottom. And I used a Posca pen to
flick some flurries onto the background. The tiny stamped snowflakes are by
Lavinia Stamps as is the sentiment. I used some matching cardstock by Stampin Up for
the card base. Coloring was done with my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. For some sparkle I added Stickles glitter to each of the snowflake centers.

What a beautiful vintage Christmas card. That's so funny you're "over winter" already. We have at least another 3 months to go here in Wisconsin, but we have been known to get blizzards in April too!
What a pretty card! Love the carolers, and the halo of snowflakes! Thanks for sharing at CAS on Friday!
Love this mix of traditional vintage style stamp and contemporary colours - it has worked out beautifully xx
That's a lovely nostalgic stamp you have used. I like it a lot!

Fantastic coloring on your Christmas Carolers and the background frame and snowflakes are so perfect for your scene. Love the bit of sparkle in the snowflakes. Thanks for sharing your enhanced 3-2-1 recipe with us at Double Trouble and wishing you a Happy Holiday.
Carolers are such a sweet Christmas sentiment. I love the idea of them on a card! Thanks so much for sharing. (I too am sick of winter already too, but I do appreciate having a white Christmas!)

Beautiful Christmas card. Thank you for joining Stamping Sensations challenge. ANesha
Ellie, your vintage holiday card is so perfect! I hadn't heard carolers for so many years until last week in San Francisco in Japantown. They were singing both in English and Japanese - it was so lovely and nostalgic! Your coloring on the stamped image is done so well, and the snowflakes falling across the scene is just perfect. Thank you for sharing with us at Double Trouble!!!
Beautiful card with a gorgeous Christmas image, thanks for sharing at Fab’n’Funky.
