I Spy With My Little Eye...... Something With Wings (Challenge No. 39)

Hello everyone and welcome to the new I spy with my little eye challenge, taking place right here on my blog. Pauline and I are back with a new theme and we hope you will come join in the fun! And don't forget to scroll down to see who we selected as our top two, both invited as guest designers in the next challenge.

This time it's Pauline's turn to host and she selected the theme of

I spy with my little eye.....

Something with Wings.

So many options here and we can't wait to see your winged things. As always, the linky tool is at the end of this post.

Here is what we made this time to inspire you:

My card (Ellie)

(All details are below the card)

Some of the links included are affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you purchase something through the links. As always, this is at no extra cost to you.

I started with a background piece I found in my "extras" box where I had used the mini tiles stencil by Tim Holtz and pink Distress ink (I think Kitch Flamingo). The "script" stamp in the corners is from the Tracy Evans set Magnolia. Butterflies are a new to me stamp set by Visible Image - Live Life Now, stamped with Wilted Violet Distress ink. Sentiment is also new to me, already had it in another font but this one was part of a set by Indigo Blu from a UK stamping magazine I picked up at Barnes & Nobles a couple of days ago (Simply Cards and Papercraft Issue #284). I used a black Posca pen for some splatter annd black enamel dots on the large butterfly body. Mounted onto purple cardstock and a white card base.

Challenges I'd like to share the above card with:
