Featured Stamper Bev!!

Hello and happy Sunday!
I am so glad that I finally found some time to do a challenge!
This week's Featured stamper on SCS is Bev R. Have you seen her gallery?? It is full of gorgeous stuff just like her blog. It was so hard to choose just one card to case. For now I decided to go with this one.
I pretty much kept the color scheme of blue/brown and the same layout. My card is really very similar to Bev's because I just loved hers so much!! For my main image I used a Sarah Kay stamp and colored it with Prismacolor pencils blended with baby oil. Instead of a heart doily I used a circle shaped one and sponged the edges with chocolate chip ink. My background pattered paper is actually a piece of tempting turquoise. I stamped the "Floral Flourish" by Paper Inspirations with white craft ink around the edges of the turqouise paper. I love that stamp! I also sponged the edges of this paper with choc. chip ink. The large flower was made using the scallop circle punch by SU, I just cut into each scallop. To finish this card off I stamped the sentiment on top and bottom of the turquoise paper,I added the ribbon bunch, some jewelry pieces as flower centers, the photo corners and swirls. I added stickles to the girl and to some of the flowers. To make the "ribbon-flower" I just put a glue dot in the middle of each of the ribbon scraps and then put the flower on top of that. Very easy. Not sure if Bev made her's the same way.

Stamps: Sarah Kay, The paper studio (Floral Flourish), stampabilities (Follow your dreams)
Paper: Chocolate chip, tempting turquoise, GP white, white doily
Ink: memento black, chocolate chip, white craft ink
Accessories: photo corner, scallop circle, goho blossom, flower trio (all punches by SU), striped ribbon by offray, other ribbon my msc. venders, prima and fabric flowers, stickles, cuttlebug swirl, big kick, jewelry circles
Technique: coloring with prismacolor pencils, sponging

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thanks! That's a simple solution. I saw instructions from something similar on SCS and it involved clothespins and looked too complicated and I like your version better! It seems like it will be easier to mail! Thanks, LauraP
