Can you believe I managed to get two cards done and posted within 2 days?? It's been sooo long since that happened.
I've been playing some more with my new derwent coloursoft pencils, this time I used one of my old Penny Black stamps (Bee happy). I just cannot tell you how much I love these pencils and I now I want to get ALL of them.
I've been playing some more with my new derwent coloursoft pencils, this time I used one of my old Penny Black stamps (Bee happy). I just cannot tell you how much I love these pencils and I now I want to get ALL of them.
I've used the sketch from "The sweet stop" challenge blog, but flipped it.Papers are from Stampin up. I did some machine stitching with my janome mini on this card.
Since I didn't have any rust colored ribbon, I ended up running a piece of card stock through my paper crimper (which I haven't used for soooo long) to get a little bit of texture. Flowers and scallop border were done using Martha stewart punches, the oval is done with a SU punch. I've added tiny sticky pearls to the flower centers and some stickles glitter to the bee's wings and flower centers on the Designer Paper.
My card also fits these challenges:
- All sorts (theme summer days)
- Penny Black @ All sorts (theme: a burst of summer)
- Fussy and Fancy (theme: stitches, scallops and sparkles)
- Speedy the cat (theme: punches)
