For today I decided to make a little pocket card that holds a hot cocoa packet. The stamp I used is called Served with Love from the Crissy Armstrong collection.
To make this card I followed the tutorial on Splitcoaststampers by the super talented Beate.
For the image I did some paper piecing and coloring with derwent coloursoft pencils blended with baby oil. Glitter was added to the snow and snowflake centers.
The snowflakes were cut out using Whimsy's new Shapeology die "Layered Snowflakes" which is a set of 3 snowflakes dies, that can be used layered or by themselves as I did here. (I just used one of the dies.) To finish it off I added the sentiment from the new stamp set "winter notables, cut out using the new Notables 1 Shapeology die.
To take a look at the rest of today's project, simply click the links below, and don't forget to leave comments along the way, if you'd like to be entered into a
drawing for a Whimsy Prize.
