Fashion Friday: Green Relaxed Fit Sweater Outfit

This is not a sponsored post, however this post includes some affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you purchase something through the links, at no cost to you! Thank you so much for your support!

                                                                                  *************

So I may have gone a little bit overboard with this sweater when Nordstrom released it as part of their recent Anniversary Sale (where they introduce new fall merchandise at anniversary/sale prices).  I first ordered the white one, but also wanted either the navy or this green color after I saw how soft it was and I loved the details on the sleeves and boatneck.

Since this color was sold out for the longest time in my size, I ended up getting the navy but kept watching for the green smoke and when it finally was availble in my size I ended up purchasing it too. I meant to send one of them back after deciding which one I like more, but I still  have all 3 and cannot decide!! Still have the tags on the other two and luckily Nordstrom has a super generous return policy. I'm still debating whether to keep the white or then navy! It's a good thing these sweaters were the only "had to have" items for me this year from the Anniversary sale so I didn't break the bank.

Of course by now this sweater is sold out in all colors at Nordstrom. I did find the sweater in Navy at Nordstrom Rack but unfortunately only in XS for those of you interested. If you like the boatneck sweater style, then do check out Nordstrom's Boatneck sweaters. Some cute ones there for sure! And remember they have free shipping and return shipping.

While browsing Nordstrom Rack I also came across this Cashmere Sweater in Olive Green and love that knitted pattern and flattering V-neck, but it's pretty expensive (marked down to around $100 from $260). It's also available in Cobalt and Bright Red.

My skinny ankle jeans are by Loft. I've had them for a few years so no direct link to this specific pair. They do have some great jeans available, including some curvy fit jeans which are great for those of you with an hourglass figure. I am slightly hourglass shaped so do have a slight "gapping at the waist" problem, but from looking at the jeans I think they are for those with a more defined hourglass figure. I might order a pair of the curvy fit jeans next time I order something from Loft to see how they fit.

The crossbody bag is from Target but also from a few seasons ago. I'm pretty sure I picked it up at the end of year clearance sale. I didn't see any ochre colored bags at Target that I liked, but found this crossbody bag at Nordstrom Rack that I really like, and  this hobo bag looks like a nice option if you prefer that style. I think Ochre is such a great color for fall!

I don't wear sneakers often, but wanted to get a new pair last year as a "travel sneaker" for our trip to Germany. I did some research online at that time and the Taos sneakers were recommended as a very comfortable shoe and great for travel and walking in them for longer periods. Taos Shoes come with great arch support. I purchased the Taos Retro Star. They are not originally waterproof but I used my waterproofer spray on them for easier care.

     >>>>>NEW Arrivals - for Fall at Taos Footwear<<<<

Taos also makes the "Star" sneakers, which is very similar to the retro star, but made out of canvas instead of Suede. Oh, and by the way, it looks like both the Star and Retro Star are now sold at a reduced prices (select colors) when you buy them directly from Taos Footwear (they ship for free). You can check out more of their sneakers here. Select colors and sizes are also currently reduced at Nordstrom

My double layer necklace is old by Lucky Brand, in fact I purchased it from ebay a couple of years ago so I have no idea how old it really is. I did find the identical necklace on ebay again, for those of you interested, of course as with most ebay items there is only one available. But there are lots of other listings for Lucky Brand necklaces on ebay, if you're wanting to purchase one at a great price.
Otherwise, you can find some brand new at Amazon or directly from Lucky Brand.

As mentioned in previous fashion posts, my eyeglass frames are by Coach, mine were picked out from a local eye care clinic. There are also several designs  available on Amazon.

Not much more to say about this look. Since pretty much everything I am wearing is sold out or old, I've added some similar options that I like below for those of you interested. Each picture is clickable and will lead you to the place where it can be purchased. Remember some of these links are affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you purchase something through the links (at no cost to you).

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog! Hope you have a fun filled weekend!

Good luck deciding! Navy and white are both such classic colors! And that green looks fabulous on you! It really is a great sweater!

That is a gorgeous sweater! I love the color, the neckline, and that it is not too bulky.

I can see why you waited so patiently (or maybe impatiently) for this color to become available! It is a gorgeous shade of green and looks great on you. I would keep all three colors! I know that doesn’t help you any but I would wear the navy and white quite frequently since I do navy and white outfits every college football Saturday. And of course the green, my fave color ever, is a must have. I am loving your sneakers, too! Thanks so much for linking up with me this week.
