Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday - November and December Challenge

Hello and welcome to Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday Challenge taking place right here on my blog. As you may have noticed in the title, this challenge will run for two months so you have until the end of December to join in this time.

It was so great seeing many of you joining in last month, thank you all for sharing your creativity. The Top Picks are at the end of this post.

As most of you know, the theme is now always ....

Anything Goes

and instead of a challenge theme there will be a "Top Pick Twist", meaning I will select a twist from all of the entries for the Top 3. Nobody will know what the twist will be (not even me) until the end of the challenge. So do link up all of your crafty makes, your entry might be the one inspiring the Top Pick twist :) Btw, since this linky is open for 2 months you are welcome to share up to 6 creations and I will select a Top 6 (3 from each month).

Before I share my card I wanted to let you know that the linky tool for the Papercrafters Year in Review is now open. Any papercrafter with a blog is invited to sign up for this fun end of year blog hop where we share our own favorites of the year. You can read all about it here

And here is what I made:

This post may include some affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you purchase something through the links. As always, this is at no cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting this blog!

I used one of Penny Black's Masterpieces Made Simple pieces for the focal point. They really make it easy to create a pretty card with but it does feel a bit like cheating as I didn't use any stamps or inks to create the image panel.

All I did here was add the sentiment, berries die cut and snowflake die cut, and then some stickles glitter. I framed it with dark brown cardstock and then mounted onto a card base which is from Stampin Up from a  card kit I recently found at a thrift store. They had several sets of card kits and have to admit I mainly purchased them for the envelopes that were included but no reason not to use the other pieces too.

I plan to share my card with these challenges:

Top Picks with aTwist - October

As always there was such a great variety of themes represented and selecting just three following a twist is never easy. But I finally managed and the twist from the October challenge is............ Embossing, meaning each one of my top picks included some sort of embossing.

They are listed in the order of entry:

No. 23 Debbie M.

No. 58 Kate

No. 60 Jolanda

Congratulations to each one of you!! Well deserved recognition! Your Top Pick logo is below, feel free to post it to your own blogs if you like to :)

I will continue to pin the top picks to the dedicated Pinterest board, but will also include photo and link back to the original blogs/sites here. These will be removed at the start of the new challenge to stay in compliance with GDPR.

To join in this month's challenge please use the linky tool below. Remember, this time the challenge runs for 2 months so you have until the last Wednesday of December to join in, which happens to be Christmas Day.

A few things to remember:
  • You may combine with any other challenges.
  • You may use any brand of stamps/digis/dies/papers (no company restriction as long as copyright laws are followed).
  • A short description of products used is expected, most importantly the source of focal point.
  • This linkup is for sharing handmade projects of any kind not limited to papercrafts.
  • Please try to limit to 3 entries per month - it's ok if you end up with more than 3 but I may not be able to visit your entries after the 3rd.
  • Please do include a link back here to my blog in your blog post.
  • Backlinking to a recent post IS allowed.
You can read more about the Guidelines/Copyright info here.

Your little fox image is adorable Ellie and love the way you've added the sentiment (always grateful for ideas with regards to this) and the extra die cut adds such lovely interest and dimension - certainly seems to have caught the attention of your little fox! Thanks for the Top Pick Ellie - you're such a talented and generous crafter and we are so grateful for your challenge - always so much inspiration here! Hugs, Kate!
