Birthday Cakes and Cupcakes for Allsorts Challenge

Good morning! It's time for a new theme at Allsorts challenge. Wendy is hosting this week and her theme is "Birthday Cakes or Cupcakes". Hope you'll join in for a chance to win a prize by Pinksy Doodles. The winner will get to choose some digital items. 

My card uses a cupcake image from this Pinksy Doodles set, combined with a  stamped image by Penny Black.

The large cupcake has been printed then colored with Copic markers. The fairy girl from the Penny Black set Cupcake has been stamped with Memento Tuxedo ink and also colored with copic markers. Both were fussy cut and I adhered the fairy to the top of the cupcake. 

To make the background I used Stamper's Anonymous harlequin stencil and Black Soot Distress ink on part of the card, then used Stampin Up's French Script background stamp (retired - Options HERE) on the other side. The large sentiment is part of the penny black stamp set with the fairy girl and the small happy birthday is part of Penny Black's Snippets set. I used a die by Avery Elle (Wonky Stitches) to cut out the banner. 

Before adhering the card front to the base, I inked up the edge with matching Broken China ink.
