Hello and welcome! It's Saturday again and that means a new theme starts today at the Allsorts challenge and all are invited to join us! This week Liz is hosting and her optional theme is "Get Well or Sympathy". There is always the Anything Goes option too. We have 2 beautiful stamps and a stencil from the Allsorts prize box to give away this week and hope you can join us!
Here is what I made:
This Poppy Edger die by Penny Black is new to me. Penny Black retailer PB stamps had a retirement sale and I was lucky enough that this one was still in stock when I placed my order. I love it!

The background was done with a Penny Black Brick Wall stamp stamped with Antique Linen ink. The blossoms on the floral edger die were cut out again on watercolor paper and I used Distress inks Wilted Violet and Villainous Potion to ink them up. On the left side I used an old Whimsy Stamps border script stamp, the "sending healing hugs" sentiment is also an oldie from Whimsy Stamps. Finally I added the little butterfly from the Penny Black die set Soaring which was inked using the same distress inks and embellished it with white enamel dots. A little bit of Stickles glitter on the flowers and butterfly finish off the card. Oh, I also used my corner rounder on the right side for a little extra detail.

That really is a beautiful die Ellie, a new one to me as well and had I seen before it was retired may well have been tempted. Colouring the blooms purple works well over the brick wall.
