Hello everyone, I am on a blogging break for the next 2 weeks so this and the following few are scheduled posts, hopefully everything will post as planned.
Allsorts challenge new theme is Anything Goes or Winter Flora and/or Fauna. Prizes for this week are 2 stamp sets from AALL and Create.
Here is what I made:
This post may include some affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you purchase something through the links. As always, this is at no cost to you. Thank you so much for supporting this blog! The focal point is a stamp by Penny Black Holly Berry Bird, colored with Distress Watercolor crayons. Unfortunately I colored out of the line a bit. I have two sets of these watercolor crayons but haven't used them much. Sometimes I think I want to add more sets but other times I feel like I like coloring with the ink pads more. If you have these, how do you like them?
Related Products:
After coloring the image I stamped Penny Black's Christmas Story on the bottom portion and added the die cut berries branch. The edges were sewed and distressed. I added the little tag and sentiment for some interest. The tag is part of an Avery Elle die set (I think Wonky Stitches die set) and sentiment from Penny Black's Holiday Snippets set. The little snowflake I added is part of Penny Black's Dancing Snowflakes die set.

A beautiful festive make here Ellie.
I don’t have the crayons - I most often colour with ink pads dabbed onto a pallet and pick up colour with a water brush! X
Beautiful card Ellie, I love the robins image and the interesting background and embellishments on the lower portion of the card. I too have 2 sets of distress watercolour pencils and tbh I don’t use them that much, so like you I waver between buying more and not bothering! I like colouring with them but they are a faff to sharpen and I do just find colouring with Zig pens a lot easier! I also sometimes watercolour with watered down Elements inks … I don’t have many DI’s, mostly DOX’s so I started collecting the Elements inks instead and they are very vibrant and juicy! Xx
Blogger behaved Ellie and your post's spot on time and with a beautiful seasonal card featuring the Robin pair.

That is beautiful!
This is stunning, your coloring is beautiful and like the stitching and distressing!
Lovely card!
The robins and foliage are lush!
This is just delightful! I have three sets of the DI watercolour pencils but haven't used them a lot! I do like the distress crayons with water.
Beautiful card Ellie, I love the added stitching around the edge.
Liz xx
