It's Friday already and I have another style post to share today. Thank you so
much for taking the time to stop by today to take a look!
As I mentioned in my
Loft Mini Try-On post
from a few weeks ago, I had to exchange a couple of pieces from my LOFT order,
and I have now received those two pieces in the correct sizes. I am so glad I
spent the bit of extra time to get these exchanged and it actually went pretty
quickly through their online chat option.
Please note, this post does include some affiliate links, meaning I may
earn a small commission if you purchase something through the links, as
always this is at no cost to you. Thanks so much for your support.
This blouse is the LOFT Mixed Media Shell in Tea Rose. I love this pretty color and floral print! This top runs true to size. I now have the Petite Small. Be sure to take a
look at Loft's sizing chart on the right side of the product page. It's the step I missed and just thought XS petite would fit as in non-petite sizes I usually get XS. But I did read somewhere on a blog, that when buying from the petites department you should go up a size. This top currently is available in all sizes - Petite and
Regular.
By the way, today and tomorrow you can
take 50% off your LOFT order with code: LOVE.
It's hard to see, but there is a little bit of green on the top, and therefore I thought it would be a good idea to pair it with
my green ankle skinny jeans. These are by Calvin Klein and I found them
at TJMaxx several months
ago. I've been wanting a pair of green jeans for a while but didn't really
want to pay a lot for them as I'm known for always reaching for blue jeans.
But I paid less than $15 for these and love them. I've styled these jeans in
this post
for early spring weather.
Unfortunately I can't find a direct link to these jeans anywhere, but LOFT has
a pair of
green jeans
that would be a great option. And
these jeggings
from Maurices are similar in color with great reviews. Maurices currently also offers free shipping on any order.
The tote bag I found in the Target clearance section a year or two ago.
The light beige color is a great neutral for spring and summer and can be
paired with most things from my closet.
This bag
from Kohl's would be an option if you're looking for a light brown tote bag. I
also like this reversible one from
Amazon.
You've seen these sandals before if you've been following my fashion posts.
Now that my daughter is taller than me, I feel the need to wear heels more
often😀. These wedge sandals were purchased from Kohls a year or two
ago, they are by Natural Soul and are very comfortable to walk in. My exact pair
is unfortunately no longer available, but I found and like
this pair
from the same brand and a similar heel at DSW.
Today's outfit (options) at a glance:
1. Mixed Media Tie Neck Top from LOFT
(Use Code LOVE for 50% off your purchase)
2.
Olive Colored Jeggings
from Maurices
3.
Tote Bag Option
from Kohl's
4.
Wedge Sandals Option from DSW
If you've been reading my try on post, then you might remember that I also
ordered this blue dress and this blue cardigan. Sadly both of those pieces had to be sent back. I had such high hopes for
the dress, but there were so many things wrong with it for my body type. Then
the cardigan arrived with two small holes in it 😒 and I sent it back. Didn't
re-order as I also didn't really liked the shirttail look on me...
Thanks again for stopping by! I so appreciate it!

Great choice of colors: I love how the green contrasts with the blouse! Cute sandals too. While it's too hot here for jeans I could do something similar with my olive shorts!

Thanks Mireille! The olive shorts are a great idea!
That is such a pretty tank! I am still waiting for my Loft order to come in. I see they are having killer sales and I want to participate but I honestly have no idea how their clothes fit/ what size I'd be so I had ordered a variety with my first order.
This is such a cute combo!

That top is so pretty! And your olive pants compliments it perfectly!
My orders from April took a month to come in, but was expecting it due to all the restrictions. Under normal circumstances they are really quick. Hope yours arrives soon!!
Thanks Amy Ann!
Thanks so much! I love this top!

Such a cute outfit! I love the color combo.
That blouse is lovely and I really like the olive jeans with it! I've tried pink with my olive jeans a few times I really need to try it more often! :)
Hope you are having a lovely weekend! We had a (small, due to restrictions) party for my son's birthday yesterday, it was really fun :)

I'm loving how you pout the colors together in this outfit! I have jeans with similar color as yours and have not been wearing them that much because I always do not know what to wear them with. Thanks for sharing, you look great!

Thanks so much! I'm new (-ish) to green jeans but loving it with pink!
Ellie, this color combination is so pretty! You really do have a wonderful knack for combining unexpected colors together in the most beautiful ways. The print on your blouse is so gorgeous, too! Thanks for linking up!

Green is such a lovely neutral- and I love the way you paired it with the floral:) If yu'd like please come link your posts over at my site. Every Friday I have a Link up Party:) Thanks!
Thanks so much, Shelbee! It's not alway easy coming up with good color combinations, probably why I reach for blue jeans so often, but surprisingly loving how these colors compliment each other.
Thanks so much, Lucy. I added your blog to my list of linkup!
I love this post! Thank for sharing!
