I Spy Photo Challenge No. 3

Happy Sunday! I decided to join in with Lysha's photography challenge again this week and here are this week's prompts.

  • Ordinary Day
  • Favorite
  • Makes me Happy
  • Candle
  • Black and White

Ordinary Day:

Every weekday morning - waiting on my coffee to be done with a glass of water nearby and visiting blogs, checking email, etc. in the kitchen where I keep my computer. I love my mini French press

Favorite:

My husband surprised me with my favorite chocolate the other day - perfect photo opportunity for this prompt!

Candle

Fireside and Fig wood wick candle purchased from Aldi a few months ago. Love these wood wick candles and they smell so nice too! Aldi only has these types of candles occasionally, but they are always available at Target and other retailers in a variety of scents.

Brings me Joy

Wildlife in my backyard. I like to throw old bread out in the winter and the birds and squirrels love it. I know these starlings live in our area all year round, but surprisingly I only see them in the winter months in my backyard.

Black and White

My cat Thomas hanging out on my bed like he owns it!

Photos were taken with my Canon DSLR camera.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  1. We always have Lindt with our coffee, the 90% dark one! We have tree in front of our living room that is full with bird seed and it is lovely to see all those birds. And the noise they make! Even the chickens from our neighbors come to pick what fell of the tree!

  4. Mmmm, chocolate! Yes, please!
I have been throwing old bread and corn bread out for our backyard birds, too. They were sneaking kitty food out of a dish I use to feed a stray who visits regularly. Thought they might like the old bread better.
My niece manages a number of Aldi stores in Memphis. I keep telling her we need an Aldis in El Paso where I live. And a Trader Joes!! That candle sounds like it would be a delicious fragrance.

    1. I'm sorry you don't live near an Aldi store! I love mine. We don't have Trader Joe's here. And yes, the candle is great, also have a "gingerbread and hot chocolate scent" which I love equally and I don't get a headache from them like I do when I turn on my scentsy.

    1. That's funny about the glasses. I just saw an ad with the same glasses on a website, but don't remember which one. I've had mine for several years now :)
